2013 The name of the lab changed to Complex Biology Research group
Dec. 2012 Prof. Hong Gil Nam was selected as the director of the Center for Plant Aging Research, IBS.
Sep. 2012 The lab shifted to DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology).
Mar. 2011 The first batch of international graduate students enrolled.
The name of the lab changed to Nam Laboratory for Complex Biology (The National Scholar Lab.)
May. 2010 Prof. Nam was appointed as the National Scholar of Korea.
The name of the lab changed to Nam’s Lab
Feb. 2010 Prof. Nam was appointed as Hong Deok Distinguished Professor, POSTECH.
Mar. 2009 IBC (Interdisciplinary Bio Central) Journal was founded by Prof. Nam as the Founding Editor.
Aug. 2008 20th year anniversary.
Apr. 2005 School of I-BIO (Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering) was founded.
(Prof. Nam was appointed as the Head.)
2005 The name of the lab changed to PSBD (Plant Systems Bio-Dynamics Laboratory).
Dec. 2004 NCRC (National Core Research Center for Systems Bio-Dynamics) was founded.
Aug. 2003 Prof. Nam saw his student taking up professorship for the first time.
(To date, we have 5 professors holding Doctorate from our PhD course.)
Sep. 1999 Genomine Inc. was founded
Oct. 1996 The first foreign Post-Doc joined the lab.
Feb. 1996 The first batch of Doctors graduated. (To date, we have 21 Doctors from our PhD course.)
Jan. 1996 BRIC (Biological Research Information Center) was founded.
1994 The lab saw its researcher taking up professorship for the first time.
(To date, we have 7 professors from our researchers.)
Feb. 1992 The first batch of Master’s Degree holders graduated.
Mar. 1990 The first batch of graduate students for Master’s Degree enrolled.
Aug. 1988 PMG (Plant Molecular Genetics Laboratory) opened.
Jul. 1988 Prof. Nam took up professorship in the Department of Life Science, POSTECH.
